Energy for Life
Although apparently mature, the energy market in Portugal continues to surprise with new value propositions. The symbolic value and positioning of the respective Brands has taken on increasing relevance. Gasfomento was a very evocative Brand (explicit reference to gas) that had few ‘degrees of freedom’ to grow to other business areas; the previous logo (a stylized gas flame already dated) gave it a too institutional and distant positioning.
In this process of rebranding, we rejuvenate the Brand, giving it a graphic modernity, also positioning it in the area of renewable energies.
The Brand’s signature has also changed: the new tagline ‘Energy for Life’ contextualizes the industry, extends the range of energies, bridges energy (business) and energy (of the individual), and makes a statement of a clear long-term (and future) commitment.
In parallel, we advised Gasfomento throughout its digital transformation process, assuming the new e-commerce area an increasing importance in the revenue source mix, with the possibility of online sales of gas equipment and services in Galp Casa online store. Cupid developed the entire back-end area of the e-commerce solution, including API/Webservices (XML-RPC) that allowed interacting between the two platforms, offering an extensibility and interoperability solution (ERP).
